Miracle Musical

Miracle Musical, also stylized as ミラクルミュージカル, is a side project of Joe Hawley, best known as a member of the band Tally Hall. The project has drawn on collaborations with fellow Tally Hall members Rob Cantor and Ross Federman, as well as Zubin Sedghi, blending the group's characteristic vocal harmonies and quirky pop sensibility with a more experimental, psychedelic, and electronic-leaning sound.

The project's central release, «Hawaii: Part II», is a loosely conceptual album built around a shipwreck narrative, threading together tracks like «The Mind Electric», «Labyrinth», and «Introduction to the Snow» into a continuous, cinematic listening experience. Its ambitious production, layered arrangements, and surreal lyrical imagery distinguish it from more conventional pop songwriting, and the record developed a passionate cult following, particularly online, years after its initial release.

Though the album was largely a private undertaking with a low public profile at the time of release, its songs — especially «The Mind Electric» — gained substantial popularity through internet-driven rediscovery, introducing Miracle Musical to a much wider audience than the project originally reached and cementing its place as a beloved cult work within alternative and experimental pop circles.
