Men I Trust

Men I Trust are an indie/dream-pop trio from Quebec City, Canada, formed in 2014 by Jessy Caron (bass, guitar, keyboards) and Dragos Chiriac (keyboards, production), with singer Emma Proulx joining shortly after; an earlier vocalist, Odile Marmet-Rochefort, sang on the band's first release before departing. The group is known for a hazy, warm sound blending dream pop, synth-driven indie and subtle electronic textures, anchored by Proulx's soft, breathy vocals.

Working entirely independently — recording, mixing, mastering and directing their own videos — the band built a devoted online following through slow-burning singles like «Tailwhip», «Show Me How» and «Seven», which found a second life via streaming algorithms and platforms like TikTok years after release. Albums such as Headroom, Oncle Jazz and Untourable Album reflect their patient, DIY approach to songwriting, favoring understated melodies and introspective, sincere lyrics over polish or spectacle.
