Marcus & Martinus

Marcus & Martinus Gunnarsen are Norwegian twin brothers from Northern Norway who became one of Scandinavia's biggest pop phenomena while still children. They first gained national attention by winning the Norwegian edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, and their subsequent debut album launched a run of chart-topping singles in Norway.

Their sound blends radiant, youth-oriented pop with R&B and electronic textures, moving from Norwegian-language hits early in their career toward English-language pop aimed at a broader Scandinavian and international audience. Tracks like «Elektrisk» became some of the most-viewed Norwegian-language music videos ever, while later singles such as «Heartbeat», «Girls» and «Like It Like It» reflected their shift toward glossier, internationally-minded pop production.

As they grew older, Marcus & Martinus continued releasing music together while also pursuing individual projects, remaining one of the most recognizable teen-to-young-adult pop acts to emerge from Norway, with a fanbase spanning across the Nordic countries and beyond.
