Madame

Madame, stage name of Francesca Calearo, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Creazzo, near Vicenza, in 2002. She initially performed under the name Madame Wilde before shortening it to Madame, and debuted in September 2018 with the single Anna. It was her follow-up track Sciccherie, released later that year, that established her as one of the breakout voices of Italys urban and hip-hop-adjacent pop scene, leading to a deal with Sugar and her first official single, 17, in 2019.

Between 2019 and 2021 she alternated solo releases with high-profile collaborations, including features with Marracash, Ernia, Negramaro, and a summer hit alongside Ghali and Marracash. In 2021 she competed at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song VOCE, a milestone that broadened her audience beyond the urban scene and confirmed her as a distinctive songwriting talent, blending pop hooks with rap cadences and introspective, often confessional lyrics.

Beyond her own catalogue, Madame has built a parallel career as a songwriter for other major Italian artists, including Laura Pausini, Angelina Mango, and CLARA, underlining her reputation as one of the most versatile pens in contemporary Italian pop. Tracks like MAREA, BABAGANOUSH, and TU MI HAI CAPITO continue to show her range across moody, melodic pop and sharper rap-inflected material.
