Lunay

Lunay, born Jefnier Osorio Moreno on May 18, 2000, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, is a reggaetón and Latin trap singer who emerged as one of the leading voices of Puerto Rico's new generation of urban artists. He gained early attention through collaborations with established stars such as Ozuna, appearing on tracks like «Luz Apagá», and drew praise from Anuel AA for his rapid rise in the genre while still in his teens.

What set Lunay apart from many of his urban-genre peers was his focus on romantic and everyday themes rather than the drugs-and-luxury imagery common in trap, paired with a melodic, versatile vocal style. His breakthrough single «Aparentas» in 2018 showcased his vocal range and helped establish him as a rising star, followed by hits like «Soltera», «La Cama», and «A Solas», several of which received popular remixes featuring other major reggaetón artists.

Lunay's sound blends smooth reggaetón rhythms with R&B-influenced melodies and light trap textures, positioning him within the wave of young Puerto Rican artists who broadened urban music's emotional and sonic palette in the late 2010s. His collaborative singles and duets helped cement his place among the genre's next generation of hitmakers.
