Lukas Graham

Lukas Graham is a Danish pop band fronted by singer Lukas Forchhammer, born and raised in Christiania, the alternative commune in central Copenhagen, alongside bandmates including drummer Mark «Lovestick» Falgren and bassist Magnús «Magnúm» Larsson. The band broke through internationally with «7 Years» in 2016, a reflective, autobiographical track that topped charts in over a dozen countries and earned multiple GRAMMY nominations.

Musically, Lukas Graham blends pop, soulful R&B-inflected vocals and occasional rap-adjacent cadences, with Forchhammer's raspy, emotive voice and candid, diaristic lyricism at the center. Songs like «Love Someone», «Mama Said» and «You're Not There» continue the band's focus on personal storytelling—family, loss, fatherhood and self-reflection—wrapped in radio-friendly, piano- and horn-inflected pop arrangements.

Following the global success of «7 Years», the band built out a catalog including the album «3 (The Purple Album)», further cementing their reputation for turning intimate, working-class Copenhagen experiences into widely resonant pop songs. Their ability to combine emotional vulnerability with big, anthemic choruses has kept them touring major stages and collaborating within both pop and hip-hop-adjacent circles.
