Los del Río are a Spanish duo from Dos Hermanas, near Seville, formed by Antonio Romero Monge and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones. Rooted in the flamenco and sevillanas traditions of Andalusia, the pair built a long career performing in the folk and copla styles of southern Spain before achieving unexpected global fame.

Their signature song «Macarena», originally released in 1993, became one of the biggest dance-pop phenomena of the 1990s after the 1995 Bayside Boys Remix propelled it to international charts, including a lengthy run at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song's accompanying dance made it a fixture at weddings, parties and sporting events worldwide, and it remains one of the best-known novelty hits in pop music history.
