LÉON (SWE)

LÉON, born Lotta Lindgren in Stockholm, Sweden, grew up in a musical household and began performing as a teenager fronting a hip-hop and soul group before pursuing a solo career. Working closely with producer and co-writer Agrin Rahmani, she released her debut EP «Treasure» in 2015, led by the breakout single «Tired of Talking», which quickly became a streaming favorite and introduced her airy, retro-tinged pop sound to international audiences.

Her momentum continued with the EPs «For You» (2017) and «Surround Me» (2017), the latter released via Columbia Records. Songs like «Think About You», «Liar» and «I Believe in Us» showcased her knack for blending 1980s-influenced synth-pop textures with intimate, emotionally direct songwriting, often centered on love, longing and self-reflection. Her voice, warm and slightly husky, became a signature element that set her apart within the crowded Scandinavian pop scene.

LÉON has continued to release music and tour internationally, building a devoted fanbase drawn to her melodic hooks and vulnerable lyricism. She occupies a distinctive space in contemporary pop, favoring understated, groove-driven production over maximalist arrangements, and remains one of Sweden's notable modern pop exports alongside a lineage of Scandinavian songwriters known for crafting globally accessible hits.
