Leeland

Leeland is an American contemporary worship group formed around brothers Leeland and Jack Mooring, whose songwriting and vocal work have made them a recognized name in modern Christian worship music. Their breakthrough came with the 2006 debut album Sound of Melodies, which introduced their distinctive blend of anthemic pop-rock arrangements and heartfelt, God-centered lyricism.

Over the years, Leeland's music has become a staple in congregational worship settings, with songs like «Way Maker» and «Carried to the Table» reflecting the band's ability to write intimate, singable worship anthems that translate easily from studio recordings to live congregational settings. In 2015, the group became part of the Bethel Music Collective, aligning them with one of the most influential communities in contemporary worship music and broadening their reach among worship leaders and churches.

Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Leeland occupies a space between mainstream Christian pop and the more improvisational, live-worship sound associated with Bethel, contributing both original compositions and live recordings that have become widely used in churches internationally.
