Lea Salonga

Lea Salonga is a Filipino singer and actress widely regarded as one of the most successful performers to emerge from the Philippines on the international stage. She rose to prominence originating the title role in the West End and Broadway productions of Miss Saigon, a performance that earned her major theatre honors and established her as a leading voice in musical theatre.

Salonga's crossover into film brought her to a global audience through Disney animation, where she provided the singing voice for Princess Jasmine in Aladdin alongside Brad Kane, and later for the title character in Mulan, delivering the anthem «Reflection». These roles cemented her as one of the defining voices of the Disney Renaissance era, admired for her clear, emotionally resonant soprano.
