LEA, born Lea-Marie Becker, is a German pop singer from Bochum who emerged in the mid-2010s as one of the country's most recognizable young voices in German-language pop. She first drew attention as a teenager with the self-written song «Wohin willst du?», later remixed with the DJ duo Gestört aber GeiL and reaching the German charts. Her breakthrough as a solo artist came with the debut album «Vakuum», built around intimate, melancholic songwriting she developed largely alone at the piano.

Her sound blends contemporary pop and rap-influenced production with an unmistakably soft, introspective vocal delivery, often centered on themes of vulnerability, longing and self-reflection. The single «Leiser» became a radio staple and earned her a gold record, while «Zu dir» extended her streaming success further.

With her second album, «Zwischen meinen Zeilen», LEA opened up her music to a more collaborative, outward-looking feel while keeping the diaristic honesty that defined her early work, cementing her place among the leading voices of modern German pop.
