About the artist
Konstrakta is the stage name of Ana Đurić, a Serbian singer, songwriter and visual artist from Belgrade, also known as a member of the band Zemlja Gruva. She rose to international attention when her song «In corpore sano» won Serbia’s national selection and represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, finishing in the top five with a stage performance built around a hand-washing ritual and pointed commentary on the Serbian healthcare system.
Her solo work blends minimalist, almost spoken-word pop with wry, socially charged lyrics that address bureaucracy, gender roles and everyday absurdities in Serbian society. Tracks such as «Novo, bolje», «Nobl» and «Mekano» continue this mix of deadpan delivery, sparse electronic-tinged production and conceptual staging that has made her live shows as talked-about as her recordings.
Konstrakta is regarded as one of the more distinctive voices to emerge from the Serbian and regional Balkan pop scene in recent years, valued for treating pop music as a vehicle for conceptual art and social critique rather than straightforward entertainment. Songs like «Zauvek, sine» and «Šta će meni ko» show a softer, more emotionally direct side alongside her satirical material.
