Kinneret is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who first gained widespread attention while still in high school with her breakout single «No Wind Resistance!», an offbeat pop track built on wobbly synths and philosophically curious lyrics. The song's viral success online was especially striking given her age and the fact that she wrote and produced it in between classes, quickly turning her into one of the more distinctive voices in the alt-pop underground.

Her sound blends bright, glittery pop hooks with an experimental, left-of-center sensibility, often touching on existential or introspective themes delivered in a conversational, almost diaristic tone. Rather than attend Berklee College of Music right away, she chose to keep releasing music and building her live show, including touring in support of Princess Chelsea, which helped her grow as a performer while retaining the eccentric character of her early work.
