Kierra Sheard

Kierra Sheard, known affectionately as Kiki, is an American gospel and R&B singer, actress, and fashion designer. Born into gospel royalty as the daughter of Karen Clark Sheard of the legendary Clark Sisters and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, she was introduced to audiences as a child, trading vocals with her mother on record before launching her own solo career as a teenager.

Sheard signed with EMI Gospel and released her debut album in the mid-2000s, quickly establishing herself as one of the leading voices of a new generation of gospel artists who blended traditional church roots with contemporary R&B and pop production. Her sound has always balanced polished, radio-friendly arrangements with the vocal power and testimony-driven lyricism of her gospel upbringing, and songs like «You Don't Know» and «Something Has To Break» showcased her ability to move between inspirational anthems and more contemporary urban gospel textures.

Over the course of her career she has continued releasing albums independently through her family's label, moved into acting, and remained one of the more visible bridges between mainstream R&B sensibility and gospel music tradition, carrying forward the legacy of the Clark Sisters into a new era.
