Kevin Lyttle

Kevin Lyttle, born Lescott Kevin Lyttle Coombs on 14 September 1976, is a Vincentian soca artist who became internationally known in the early 2000s. He grew up in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a country with a strong soca and calypso tradition, and built his early career performing within that Caribbean music scene before crossing over to global pop and R&B audiences.

His defining hit, «Turn Me On», released in 2003 and featuring dancehall artist Spragga Benz, became a worldwide crossover success, blending soca rhythms with pop and R&B production sensibilities that made it accessible to mainstream radio far beyond the Caribbean. The song's infectious, danceable groove helped popularize soca-influenced pop on an international scale and spawned multiple remixes, including a UK garage-flavored version with Alison, reflecting how widely the track was reworked across different regional markets.

Beyond «Turn Me On», Lyttle built a catalog of upbeat, romantically themed dance-pop songs such as «Drive Me Crazy», «Anywhere», and «Dance With Me», maintaining a sound rooted in Caribbean rhythm sections but polished for pop radio. He remains one of the most recognizable ambassadors of Vincentian and broader Caribbean soca music to reach mainstream international success.
