Kelsey Lu

Kelsey Lu is an American singer-songwriter and classically trained cellist from Charlotte, North Carolina, born in 1991. Raised in a devout Jehovah's Witness household, they later studied for a time at the North Carolina School of the Arts before moving toward a genre-blurring solo career that draws on pop, R&B, electronic and experimental music. Their voice and cello playing give their songs an intimate, almost orchestral quality that sets them apart from more conventional pop or R&B artists.
