KAZKA

KAZKA is a Ukrainian band formed in Kyiv in 2017, performing in what is often described as experimental pop with elements of folktronica, blending electronic pop production with textures drawn from Ukrainian folk music. The group first drew wide attention with their breakout single «СВЯТА» and its accompanying music video, quickly establishing a distinctive sound built on lush electronic arrangements, folk-inflected vocal melodies, and Ukrainian-language lyrics.

The band's biggest hit, «ПЛАКАЛА», became an international viral success, charting widely and later spawning an official English-language version, «Cry», as well as a remix by R3HAB that introduced the song to global dance and pop audiences. This crossover moment made KAZKA one of the most recognizable Ukrainian pop acts internationally in the years following its release. Other singles, including «КАРМА» and «МОВЧАТИ», further cemented their sound of atmospheric, emotionally direct pop with folk-tinged instrumentation.

KAZKA's studio releases, including the albums KARMA and NIRVANA, showcase a consistent aesthetic of dreamy, cinematic production paired with vocals that draw on Ukrainian melodic traditions.
