Katelyn Tarver

Katelyn Tarver is an American actress and singer-songwriter born November 2, 1989, who built parallel careers in television and pop music. She first gained visibility competing on the reality show American Juniors, then became widely known through acting roles including Jo Taylor on Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush, Natalie on ABC's No Ordinary Family, and Mercedes on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Alongside acting, Tarver pursued a music career marked by warm, introspective pop with country and R&B undertones. Her debut album Wonderful Crazy featured production from Mattias Gustafsson, known for his work with the Backstreet Boys, and Kevin Savigar. She later released the independent A Little More Free EP in 2011, produced by Matt Grabe, and supported acts like Honor Society, The Cab and Parachute on tour.

Tarver has continued to release music steadily, including the singles «Weekend Millionaires» and «Nobody Like You», and has written for other artists, notably co-writing Cheryl Cole's 2014 single «Crazy Stupid Love».
