KAI (EXO)

KAI, born Kim Jong-in, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and rapper best known as a member of the K-pop group EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K, having debuted in 2012 with the single «MAMA». Renowned as EXO's main dancer, he has also performed as part of the SM Entertainment supergroup SuperM since its 2019 debut with «Jopping».

As a soloist, KAI built a distinct identity centered on sleek, sensual R&B and electronic-tinged pop, marked by sharp choreography and a smoother, more mature vocal tone than his group work. His solo debut EP in 2020 was led by the hit «음 (Mmmh)», followed by the mini-album Peaches a year later, and in 2023 he released a further mini-album featuring the widely popular «Rover». His catalogue also includes tracks like «Wait On Me» and «Reason», showcasing a consistent blend of groove-driven production and stylish visual presentation.

Outside his solo work, KAI has appeared as a featured artist on other SM label projects, including TAEMIN's «Pretty Boy», reflecting his standing as one of the label's most versatile performers across group, supergroup, and solo formats.
