Kacperczyk

Kacperczyk are a duo of brothers, Maciek and Paweł, from Lublin, Poland, who grew up immersed in music before forming this project. Maciek, the elder brother, handles lead vocals, guitar and most of the songwriting, while Paweł is responsible for production and drums. Before recording as Kacperczyk, the two performed together in the band Suumoo, releasing their early track «Flegma».

In 2019 the brothers joined the SBM Label roster, signing a record deal that led to their breakthrough single «Iggy», which set the stage for their debut album «Sztuki Piękne» (2020). The twelve-track record captures the experience of young people leaving small-town Poland for Warsaw, filtered through a hazy, exhausted, after-the-party atmosphere that became a signature of their sound — melodic guitar-pop and rap-adjacent songwriting blended with alternative and R&B textures.

The album featured guest appearances from established Polish rap and hip-hop figures including Ten Typ Mes, Gverilla and Jan-rapowanie, situating Kacperczyk within a scene that bridges indie guitar music and contemporary Polish rap. Songs like «Brejdaki», «Sebiksy» and «Kryzys Wieku Wczesnego» further explored themes of youth, disillusionment and generational anxiety, cementing the duo's reputation as distinctive voices of their generation.
