JVKE, born Jake Lawson, is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Cranston, Rhode Island, who emerged from the TikTok generation of internet-native pop artists. He first gained attention in 2020 for mashup videos, often made with his mother's involvement, which he later transformed into his breakout debut single «Upside Down».

His sound blends pop, R&B, and electronic textures with rap-adjacent vocal cadences, reflecting his roots as a producer as much as a performer.
