Julieta Venegas

Julieta Venegas is a Mexican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Long Beach, California, and raised in Tijuana. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s and 2000s as one of the leading voices of Latin American pop-rock, known for playing accordion alongside guitar and piano, which gave her music a distinctive folk-pop texture within the broader rock en español movement.

Her breakthrough came with albums such as Bueninvento and Sí, the latter featuring the hit «Limón y Sal», which became one of her signature songs and helped cement her as a major crossover artist across Latin America and Spain.
