Jon Secada

Jon Secada is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter raised in Miami, Florida, who became one of the most prominent Latin crossover pop artists of the early 1990s. He first gained wide recognition as a songwriter and backing vocalist for Gloria Estefan before launching his own solo career, releasing bilingual albums in both English and Spanish that reached audiences across the Americas and Europe.

His signature hits «Just Another Day» and «Angel» showcased his powerful, emotive vocal style and helped define a smooth, radio-friendly pop-R&B sound with strong Latin pop sensibilities. He recorded much of his material in parallel Spanish versions, such as «Otro Día Más Sin Verte», reflecting his commitment to reaching both English- and Spanish-speaking listeners equally rather than treating one as secondary.
