John Summit

John Summit, born John Schuster in Chicago, is an American house music producer and DJ who has become one of the most prominent names in dance music in the 2020s. He first broke through with «Deep End» in 2020, a track built on a sample of Fousheé's song of the same name, which became the longest-running number one on Beatport's chart that year and established his signature blend of groovy, bass-driven house.

His rise continued with «Sun Came Up», a 2021 collaboration with Sofi Tukker, and has been followed by a steady stream of club and festival-ready tracks including «Where You Are», «Shiver», «Go Back», «Tears», and «light years», several featuring collaborations with vocalists and other producers. His sound favors punchy basslines, hooky vocal chops, and a tech-house-to-house crossover appeal that plays well both in clubs and on major festival stages.

Summit has performed at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Movement, and in 2022 launched his own label, Off The Grid Records, which was rebranded Experts Only Records in 2023 following a trademark dispute. Through both his production output and label work, he has positioned himself as a central figure in contemporary house music.
