John Splithoff

John Splithoff is an American singer-songwriter who blends pop with soul and R&B textures into a smooth, warm sound. Raised in Chicago and later based in New York City, he draws on the musical range of both cities, citing influences from Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to Frank Sinatra and John Mayer, and that mix shows in his relaxed, melodic songwriting.

He began releasing music independently, starting with the EP The Move in 2013, but it was his 2016 single «Sing to You» that became his breakout, connecting with a much wider audience through its easy, singable hook. Follow-up tracks such as «Show Me», «Raye», «Leave It All Behind», and «Stepping Stone» built on that momentum, leading to his EP Make It Happen in 2018, which gave the project its title track along with songs like «Value» and «Vices».
