JISOO

Kim Jisoo, known mononymously as JISOO, is a South Korean singer and actress born January 3, 1995, in Gunpo, Gyeonggi-do. She is a member of BLACKPINK, one of the best-selling girl groups worldwide, formed under YG Entertainment and debuted in 2016 after several years as a trainee since 2011.

Within BLACKPINK, Jisoo is recognized as one of the lead vocalists, contributing to the group's genre-blending sound that merges pop, hip-hop, and electronic production. She stepped into a solo career with her 2023 single album ME, whose lead track «꽃 (FLOWER)» achieved major commercial success and pre-order records, notable for its blend of pop melody with cinematic, atmospheric production.

Jisoo has also built a career in acting and hosting, having appeared in Korean television dramas and served as an MC on the music program Inkigayo.
