Jesy Nelson

Jesy Nelson is a British pop singer born on June 14, 1991, best known as a former member of Little Mix, the girl group formed on «The X Factor» UK in 2011 alongside Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall. Little Mix became the first band to win the competition, going on to release multiple albums and hit singles before Nelson departed the group in December 2020 to pursue a solo career.

As a solo artist, Nelson leaned into a pop and R&B sound, drawing on glossy, hip-hop-inflected production and confident, self-assured songwriting. Her solo material, including tracks like «Boyz» and «Bad Thing», positioned her within the contemporary pop landscape while distancing her sound from Little Mix's more polished girl-group formula.
