Jelena Rozga

Jelena Rozga is a Croatian pop and folk singer born on August 23, 1977, in Split. She began her career in 1996 when she joined the band Magazin, led by songwriter Tonči Huljić, becoming its lead vocalist. With Magazin she recorded five studio albums and had numerous regional hits, including «Dani su bez broja» and «Da li znaš da te ne volim», before leaving the group in 2006 to pursue a solo career.

As a solo artist, Rozga released the albums Oprosti mala (2006), Bižuterija (2011) and Moderna žena (2016), establishing herself as one of the most prominent female voices in the Croatian and wider Balkan pop scene. Her solo output produced a string of hits such as «Bižuterija», «Solo igračica», «Razmažena» and «Tsunami», known for their polished pop production and emotionally direct songwriting.

Over three decades in the industry, Rozga has remained one of the region's most consistently popular performers, moving fluidly between upbeat dance-pop and more traditional Balkan folk-pop sensibilities.
