JC Stewart

JC Stewart is a Scottish singer-songwriter known for blending pop songwriting with an emotionally direct, acoustic-tinged sound. He began releasing music independently, putting out his debut single «Gold» in 2014, and built momentum over the following years through steady touring and songwriting.

His breakthrough came in 2018 when tracks like «Medicine» and «Like I Did» racked up millions of streams, leading to a deal with Warner Records. That same period saw him co-write «Hollywood» for Lewis Capaldi's album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, cementing his reputation as a songwriter as well as a performer.

Stewart continued releasing music through his own Sunshine Boy imprint, including «Have You Had Enough Wine?», and has built a catalogue of confessional pop songs such as «Break My Heart», «Bones» and «I Need You To Hate Me» that focus on heartbreak and self-reflection with a warm, radio-friendly sensibility.
