Jaymes Young

Jaymes Young is an American singer-songwriter known for blending pop, rock, electronic, and R&B textures into brooding, atmospheric songs built around his distinctive raspy voice. He spent part of his childhood in Seattle, Washington, and has cited artists like Amy Winehouse, Maroon 5, and Death Cab for Cutie as formative influences on his musical sensibility.

Young began releasing music independently, putting out the EP Dark Star in 2013, followed by Habits of My Heart in 2014. The title track became his breakout song, gaining traction through licensing and streaming and establishing his signature sound of melancholic, cinematic pop.
