About the artist
Jass Manak, born Jaspreet Singh Manak on February 12, 1999, in the village of Bhakhriana near Jalandhar, Punjab, is a Punjabi singer and lyricist who rose from an early passion for singing to become one of the most-streamed voices in contemporary Punjabi music. He began his recording career with the debut single «U-Turn» in 2017, before gaining wider attention with «Without You» in 2018.
Manak's breakthrough came with «Prada», which turned into one of the most-streamed songs in India and established him as a major name in Punjabi pop. In 2019 he released his album Age 19 alongside singles including «Rabb Wangu» and «Bandook», the latter tied to the Punjabi film Sikander 2, further cementing his presence in both music and film-adjacent releases.
His sound blends Punjabi pop with R&B and rap-inflected production, delivered with melodic, romantic lyricism that has resonated widely with young audiences. His single «Lehanga» charted on the UK Asian Music Chart and reached notable positions on global and Indian YouTube weekly music charts, reflecting an international reach that extends well beyond Punjab, with hundreds of millions of streams accumulated across platforms.
