Jane Remover

Jane Remover is an American musician, producer and songwriter from New Jersey, born September 26, 2003, who emerged from the online hyperpop and digicore scenes of the late 2010s. Their 2021 album Frailty, released as Jane Remover, drew notice for fusing shoegaze and alternative rock textures with glitchy, distorted electronic production, standing apart from much of the digicore wave they had been associated with. Alongside this main project, they released music as leroy (also known as c0ncernn), work credited with helping originate the sample-heavy, chaotic «dariacore» microgenre that deconstructs pop and dance tracks into rapid-fire collages.

Their second album under the Jane Remover name, Census Designated (2023), pushed further into a heavier, feverish blend of shoegaze, industrial noise and bedroom pop, earning wide critical acclaim and expanding their audience beyond internet-native scenes. The album's success led to touring, including dates opening for brakence, and cemented Jane Remover as one of the most inventive voices to cross over from underground internet music communities into broader alternative and electronic circles.

Jane Remover has also worked under the alias venturing, presenting the project as if it were a lost archive of demos and live recordings from the 1990s, releasing extensive material on SoundCloud alongside the more official Arizona EP. Across these different names and projects, they are known for restless genre experimentation, DIY production ethics and a willingness to blur the line between polished releases and internet-native, lo-fi output.
