James Blunt

James Blunt is an English singer-songwriter and former British Army officer whose gentle, melodic soft rock made him one of the biggest global pop stars of the mid-2000s. Before music, he served with NATO peacekeeping forces in Kosovo and later in the Household Cavalry, an unusual background that shaped his public image as a thoughtful, wry observer.

Signed to Linda Perry's Custard Records after a chance performance, Blunt released his debut album Back to Bedlam in 2004, driven by the ballad «You're Beautiful», which topped charts worldwide and sold millions of copies.
