Jackson Wang (王嘉爾)

Jackson Wang is a Hong Kong-born rapper, singer, dancer, and entrepreneur, best known as a member of the South Korean boy group GOT7. Before entering the music industry, he was an internationally ranked fencer, representing Hong Kong at the 2010 Asian Games. After debuting with GOT7 under JYP Entertainment, he built a prolific solo career, founding his own label, Team Wang, and forging ties with 88rising, which helped introduce him to a global audience beyond K-pop.

As a solo artist, Jackson blends pop, hip-hop, R&B, and rock into a sound that moves fluidly between Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and English. His breakout solo single «Papillon» established him as a bilingual crossover star, and later releases such as «Okay», «100 Ways», and the album MAGIC MAN pushed his sound toward glossy, hook-driven pop-rap. He has also worked as a television personality and mentor in China, notably coaching contestants on Idol Producer.
