Jack Black

Jack Black, born Thomas Jacob Black on August 28, 1969, in Santa Monica, California, is an American actor, comedian, and musician known for a career spanning film comedy and rock music. He rose to mainstream fame through roles in films like «High Fidelity», «School of Rock», «Nacho Libre», and the «Kung Fu Panda» franchise, and more recently voiced Steve in «A Minecraft Movie» (2025).

Alongside his acting career, Black is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the comedic rock duo Tenacious D, formed with fellow actor-musician Kyle Gass.
