Iyanya

Iyanya is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the modern Afropop and Afrobeats sound that emerged from Nigeria in the early 2010s. He rose to national fame after wining a televised talent contest and quickly became known for smooth, danceable songs that blended highlife rhythms, R&B melodies and pop hooks. His breakout hit «Kukere» became one of the defining Nigerian dance anthems of its era, spawning countless remixes and cementing his reputation as a hitmaker.
