ITZY

ITZY (있지) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by JYP Entertainment, debuting on February 12, 2019, with the single «달라달라 (DALLA DALLA)». The group consists of five members — Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna — and quickly became known for a self-assured, unapologetic concept built around themes of individuality and confidence, standing apart from the more romantic or cutesy tropes common in K-pop girl-group debuts.

Their debut mini-album IT'z ICY, led by the title track «ICY», was a breakout success on Korean music shows. The group followed with IT'z ME and its lead single «WANNABE», which became a viral hit thanks to Ryujin's distinctive shoulder-dance choreography. Later releases such as «Not Shy» and «마.피.아. In the morning» continued to explore bold, high-energy pop and electronic sounds paired with sharp rap verses and R&B-inflected vocals.

ITZY has built an international fan base through world tours across Asia and North America, and their music is characterized by punchy production, girl-crush aesthetics, and empowering lyrics. As one of JYP Entertainment's flagship acts of the late 2010s and 2020s, the group occupies a prominent place in the modern K-pop landscape alongside labelmates like TWICE.
