Isak Danielson

Isak Danielson is a Swedish singer-songwriter, born 27 August 1997, known for his emotive pop ballads and clear, tender vocal delivery. As a child he spent time in London, where he trained at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, before rising to prominence in Sweden after finishing third on The X Factor Sweden in 2012.

He began releasing music independently, with the single «Long Live This Love» in 2014 and the EPs Volume One and Volume Two shortly after. His breakthrough came with «Ending», a stripped-back piano ballad that gained international attention after being used in a widely viewed dance choreography and later featured on television, including So You Think You Can Dance and Cloak & Dagger.

Danielson released his debut studio album, Yours, in 2018, followed by the EP Run To You in 2021. After signing with Universal Music Group, he released «Silence», continuing his run of melancholic, piano-driven pop songs such as «Broken», «Power» and «Hold My Hand». His music is characterized by intimate lyrics about love and heartbreak paired with minimalist, emotionally direct production.
