Isabela Merced

Isabela Merced, born Isabela Moner on July 10, 2001, in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American actress and singer-songwriter of Peruvian and Ecuadorian descent. She first built a name for herself as a child actress, appearing in films such as «Transformers: The Last Knight», «Instant Family» and «Dora and the Lost City of Gold», and on Broadway in a revival of «Evita». Alongside acting, she pursued music from an early age, releasing the Broadway-affiliated EP «Stopping Time» in 2015.

In 2019 she changed her professional name from Moner to Merced, describing it as a tribute to her grandmother and a new chapter in both her personal life and her artistic identity. Since then she has released pop-leaning singles and collaborations that blend English and Spanish, reflecting her Latin American roots, with songs like «apocalipsis», «AGONÍA» and the bilingual «Don't Go» showing her comfort moving between languages and styles.
