Intocable is a Tejano and norteño band from Zapata, Texas, formed in the early 1990s and long regarded as one of the most influential and commercially successful acts in regional Mexican music. Built around accordion and bajo sexto instrumentation, the group blends traditional norteño rhythms with romantic balladry and modern pop-country crossover sensibilities, helping the genre reach broader audiences on both sides of the US-Mexico border.
