Inanimate Insanity

Inanimate Insanity is an animated web series created by Adam Katz (AnimationEpic) that follows a Battle for Dream Island-style elimination competition among a cast of anthropomorphic objects competing for a cash prize. Launched on YouTube in 2011, it belongs to the wave of object-show animations that grew out of that community, distinguishing itself with more polished animation, longer-form character arcs and original music written for the series.

Beyond the show's visual comedy and competition format, Inanimate Insanity has built a distinct identity around its soundtrack, with original songs performed in character by its cast members, spanning comedic numbers, character-driven ballads and ensemble pieces that accompany key story moments across its seasons, including «Inanimate Insanity Invitational» and later installments.
