Imran Khan

Imran Khan is a Dutch-Pakistani singer, songwriter and rapper born on 28 May 1984, known for blending Punjabi lyrics with contemporary pop and R&B production. He broke through in 2007 with the single «Ni Nachleh», a track that helped popularize a modern, bass-driven strand of Punjabi pop among diaspora audiences in Europe and beyond. Signed to Prestige Records, he followed up with «Amplifier» in 2009, a song that became one of the defining Punjabi pop-rap anthems of its era.

His debut album, Unforgettable, released in July 2009 and produced by Eren E, cemented his reputation as an artist capable of fusing Western electronic and hip-hop sounds with South Asian melodic sensibilities.
