About the artist
Imen Es, born Imen Essrhir on June 4, 1998, is a French singer of Moroccan origin from Sevran, near Paris. She rose to prominence as the first artist signed to Fulgu Prod, the label founded by rapper Abou Debeing, releasing her debut single «Attentat» in November 2018. Her sound blends R&B, pop, and rap influences, often built around melodic hooks and confessional lyrics about love and self-reliance.
She built her early catalogue through a steady stream of singles and features, collaborating with artists such as JuL, DJ Hamida, and Benab, which helped her reach wider urban and pop audiences in France. Her debut album, Nos vies, arrived in February 2020 and was followed by a reissue that same year, cementing her place among the new generation of French R&B-leaning pop vocalists.
Imen Es continued to develop her artistic identity with the album ES the following year and Train de vie roughly a year after that. Across these projects she has been recognized for a versatile voice that moves comfortably between smooth R&B melodies and more rhythmic, rap-adjacent cadences, making her one of the notable female voices to emerge from the French urban pop scene in the late 2010s.
