Imany is a French singer of Comorian descent known for her deep, distinctive alto voice, which blends soul, pop and folk-tinged electronic production. Before turning fully to music she worked as a fashion model, but she built her recording career through collaborations and solo releases marked by a warm, husky delivery and often minimalist, acoustic-leaning arrangements.

She reached wide international recognition with «Don’t Be So Shy», a track that took on a second life after being reworked by Ukrainian producers Filatov & Karas into a dance remix that became a global club and radio hit, introducing her voice to audiences far beyond her original folk-soul fan base.
