Il Pagante

Il Pagante is an Italian electro-pop rap duo from Milan, currently made up of Eddy Veerus, who sings and writes the lyrics, and Roberta Branchini. Federica Napoli was also part of the lineup until 2022, when she left the group. The project began as a Facebook page created in 2010, built around satirizing a very specific slice of Milanese nightlife culture — the so-called “paganti,” young people who go clubbing, book VIP tables and order bottle service to show off.

That social-media joke evolved into an actual musical act, with the group releasing its first single, «Entro In Pass», in 2012 and its debut album of the same title in 2016. Their sound blends dance-pop production with sung-rap verses and deliberately over-the-top, ironic lyrics about status symbols, discos and provincial glamour.

Over the years Il Pagante built a cult following in Italy with tracks like «ADORO», «DAM» and its sequel «DAM 2 (Il Ritorno)», «Settimana Bianca», «Dress Code» and «Il Terrone Va Di Moda», turning what started as internet satire into a recognizable niche within Italian pop and rap.
