Ieva Zasimauskaitė is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter who came to wider international attention after winning the Lithuanian national selection show Eurovizija in early 2018, earning the right to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with her self-penned ballad «When We're Old». The song, a tender, piano-led love song reportedly inspired by her own relationship, stood out among that year's Eurovision entries for its intimacy and understated staging, and it helped introduce her gentle, pop-oriented vocal style to audiences well beyond the Baltic region.
