Ice Seguerra

Ice Seguerra, born Cariza «Aiza» Yamson Seguerra on September 17, 1983, is a Filipino singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor whose career began in childhood. Rising to fame through appearances on Eat Bulaga!'s children's talent segment, Seguerra became one of the Philippines' most beloved child stars, starring in numerous films and television shows before transitioning into a recording career in the late 1990s.

As a teenager, Seguerra scored a defining hit with «Pagdating ng Panahon» (When the Time Comes), a ballad that became a staple of Original Pilipino Music and cemented a reputation as both singer and songwriter. Other well-known songs include «Sa Ugoy Ng Duyan», «Pakisabi Na Lang» and «Ano'ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa», reflecting a sound rooted in Pinoy pop and R&B balladry, often delivered with an acoustic guitar and an intimate, confessional style.

Seguerra publicly came out as lesbian in 2007 and later came out as a transgender man, becoming a prominent LGBTQ+ figure in Philippine media. Alongside his music career, he has remained active in acting and public life, and his catalog continues to be regarded as a touchstone of Filipino pop music across generations.
