Hurriganes

Hurriganes were a Finnish rock and roll band formed in Turku, Finland, in the early 1970s, led by drummer and vocalist Remu Aaltonen. Blending rockabilly, blues, and hard-driving rock and roll, the band became one of the most beloved and enduring acts in Finnish popular music, known for raw energy and Remu's distinctive gravelly voice.

Songs such as «Get On», «Roadrunner», and «Bourbon Street» became staples of Finnish rock, cementing the band's reputation as pioneers who brought an American rock and roll sound to Finland while giving it a distinctly local, working-class character. Their live shows were famous for their intensity and Remu's charismatic stage presence.
