Hov1

Hov1 is a Swedish hip-hop and pop group formed in Stockholm, consisting of Ludwig Kronstrand, Noel Flike, Dante Lindhe and Axel Liljefors Jansson. The group broke through with the single «Kärleksbrev» in 2016 and released their self-titled debut album the following year, quickly becoming one of the most commercially successful acts in Swedish hip-hop. Their sound blends melodic, radio-friendly pop hooks with light rap verses, favoring accessible, emotionally direct lyrics about love, youth and everyday life over hard-edged street narratives, which helped them reach a broad mainstream audience beyond typical hip-hop listeners.

Signed to Universal Music Sweden, Hov1 built their following through a steady stream of singles and albums, extensive touring including their debut Abbey Road Tour in 2017, and a strong presence on Swedish streaming charts. Songs like «Gift», «Pari» and «Mandy Moore» exemplify their catchy, hook-driven approach, which helped define a wave of Swedish pop-rap acts in the late 2010s and contributed to hip-hop-influenced pop becoming a dominant force in Swedish popular music.

After roughly a decade together, the group announced their breakup via a farewell letter on social media in February 2025, closing out their career with a final tour in the summer of 2025, exactly ten years after their first single was released. Hov1's run left a lasting mark on the Swedish music scene as one of the defining pop-rap groups of their generation.
