HOLYCHILD is an American musical duo formed by producer and multi-instrumentalist Louie Diller and vocalist-songwriter Liz Nistico, who met as students at George Washington University. The pair coined the term «brat pop» to describe their sound, a self-aware label for music that fuses bright pop hooks with electronic production, tropical percussion and a playful, provocative attitude that pokes at consumerism and pop culture itself.

After signing to Glassnote Records, the duo broke through with «Happy With Me», which topped Hype Machine's charts and set the tone for their debut EP Mindspeak, released with accompanying videos for every track. Their full-length debut, The Shape of Brat Pop To Come, followed in 2015, expanding their blend of glossy, danceable production with sharp, satirical songwriting. The single «Running Behind» reached a wide audience after being featured in an Apple Watch commercial.

HOLYCHILD later explored collaborative work, including a joint EP project featuring artists such as MS MR and RAC, with the Kate Nash-featuring single «Rotten Teeth» released alongside a music video. Across their catalogue, the duo has remained known for pairing infectious, maximalist pop production with lyrics that critique image, fame and modern excess.
